Internists are physicians who have extensive training and skills in preventing and managing complex disorders of the body and diseases of internal organs. They diagnose, treat, offer preventative care and follow patients with a wide range of nonsurgical illnesses. Specialists Clinic Internists may order cardiac stress testing, laboratory, pulmonary function testing, X-Ray, Ultrasound and CT (computed axial tomography) investigations completed on their patients within the Yukon.
