Ultrasound

Inaudible sound waves are emitted from a transducer, allowing the sonographer to look at internal structures, and assess the function of organs. The sound wave echoes are picked up and displayed on a computer screen.

Our Ultrasound department provides a wide range of procedures including obstetric and gynecological studies, abdominal and pelvic assessments, and vascular and soft tissue evaluations. We are also well equipped to service paediatric patients.

All ultrasound examinations require a written requisition from your physician’s office to our booking department and are performed Monday to Friday from 8:00a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
