PACS

The Medical Imaging Department at WGH is fully digital, therefore all images are stored, reviewed and transmitted in WGH’s Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS). These images can be transferred electronically to many areas of the hospital and to southern medical facilities in British Columbia and Alberta.

All electronic transfers are performed in accordance with the Health Records Confidentiality Policy and Procedure.
