Medical Imaging

The Medical Imaging department of the Whitehorse General Hospital provides diagnostic imaging services to the in-patients and out-patients throughout the Yukon, northern British Columbia and parts of Alaska. The dedicated staff in the Medical Imaging department work together to provide you with the following services:

  • Radiography (x-Ray) – General, Mobile and Fluoroscopy
  • Mammography – Screening and Diagnostic
  • Ultrasound – Obstetrical, abdominal, pelvic, vascular, gynaecological and small parts
  • CT (Computed Tomography)

Mission:

To provide a high quality diagnostic imaging service, which includes general, specialized and emergency radiography, mammography, ultrasonography, cooperative student education, health awareness teaching, and a consultation service to community nursing.

Hours
Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Staff are on-call for weekends, statutory holidays and after regular working hours for emergencies only.
